In your tour of Israel and Amman, Jordan, you will be visiting a region that gave birth to religions and is rich in myth and history. Dating back to 7,000 years BC, the region offers a view of our history from the perspective of lifestyle. And this history is not monolithic; each occupier, the ancient Greeks, the Romans, the Ottomans all left their mark; evidence is plentiful in still-standing ruins and more importantly, the influence the occupying nations had on the region’s society.
